Team UNITUS was born from a simple but powerful vision: use basketball as a platform to build stronger young men and stronger communities.

Founded in Brevard County, Florida by Coach Paco Barron and a group of mentors, UNITUS began as a grassroots effort to give student-athletes more than just a chance to play — it gave them a path to grow. What started with a few local players training in small gyms quickly turned into a movement powered by passion, purpose, and people who believed in something bigger than the scoreboard.

With decades of combined experience in coaching, leadership, and youth development, the UNITUS team created an environment where athletes are not just coached — they’re mentored, supported, and prepared for life. From hosting community camps and partnering with NBA alumni to running development-focused travel squads, UNITUS has become a respected name in both basketball and mentorship across Central Florida.

“UNITUS” means “United Us” — a name that reflects our commitment to togetherness, growth, and brotherhood through the game we love.

Today, Team UNITUS continues to evolve, but the mission stays the same: develop complete athletes, lead with character, and inspire change — one player, one family, one win at a time.
